Randonnée : Circuit de Trébentaz

Hike in the heart of the Mont de Grange hunting reserve.

Starting altitude: 1270 m
Maximum altitude: 2020 m

From the Fire Plan, take the forest track towards
Louennaz. Continue the track to the sign “Altitude 1,550 m”.
Then, on the right, the small path that leads to the Trébentaz refuge.

At the refuge, take the small path on the right, in the direction of the sign “Altitude 2,020 m”, the highest point of the route and a very beautiful view of the Swiss Alps of Valais and Vaud. The descent is by the Chalets du Folliet
through a valley. Return to the Plan des Feux car park.

Variants from the village:
1. Park in the Crêt-Béni car park. Take to the left of the restaurant “Le Clos Savoyard”, the Guéterlaz path leading directly to the Plan des Feux. Allow an additional 1 hour 45 minutes.

2. From the place called “le Moulin”, take the direction of the Sur Bayard waterfall via the G.R. 5, then follow “Refuge de Trébentaz”. Allow an additional 1 hour 45 minutes.
