In Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, it is near the Gymnase du Léman that the course starts.
It is here that the first monumental fresco of Saint-Julien was realized. The artist Wozdat dedicated this wall to basketball and Michael Jordan.
This creation was accompanied by the MurExpress project. The gymnasium of Léman was completely covered by a dozen local artists.
Let your steps guide you to the second step of the journey: the hospital of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.
Entrusted to the artist Wozdat and the association Glitch, this fresco retranscribes the journey of a life. The boat symbolizes the displacement and the positive step to go forward. The sail is represented by a heart, the emblem of the human in this composition. The heart is nourished by moving particles from the sun and water. These elements give birth to the flowers. On the whole of the sail stands out a retranscription of the text Invitation to Travel by Charles Baudelaire.
Third step, same artist: Wozdat!
Here, the artist-graffitist intervened with high school students of the College of the Presentation of Mary, in plastic art option.
The objective: to discover the process of creation, from the conception to the realization of a collaborative mural thanks to visits and workshops of creative practice. Very successful, isn’t it!
It is now time to go to the avenue de Ternier to admire the last work of the route. It was commissioned by the social landlord Erilia and the city of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.
Created by the association Glitch and the artist Keim, it is a large-scale work that has been painted here: the fresco Vivre ensemble.
