The Christmas Village

On the Place du Gros Tilleul, you'll find the CHRISTMAS MARKET featuring local producers and craftspeople, as well as a refreshment bar run by Samoëns associations (mulled wine and hot chocolate).

Come and take part in the HIGHLIGHTS of the Christmas Village:

9 DECEMBER :
* The Christmas CORRIDA, a major foot race with 2 routes through the village centre:
- 3 km for children aged 12 to 16
- 10 km for over-16s

We strongly advise you to wear a disguise!
* COMPETITION for the best ugly Christmas jumper, parade from 3pm.


DECEMBER 16 & 17 :
* Highline and aerial fabric show above the Place du Gros Tilleul.
* Mozart's REQUIEM at Samoëns Church with over 120 soloists and 40 musicians.


23 DECEMBER :
* The draw for the big TOMBOLA for shopkeepers in the Halle de la Grenette with lots of prizes to be won. Tickets can be collected from participating retailers when you make your purchases and placed in the ballot box at the Tourist Office.


24 DECEMBER :
* Santa's PARADE on his sleigh through the village centre to greet all the good children. He will be accompanied by Mother Christmas and her elves.


Not forgetting the many DEAMBULATIONS and DECORATIONS on offer every day in the centre of Samoëns to immerse you in the magic of Christmas: Living Nativity Scene, Santa's Chalet, Children's Activities, etc.
