    While the luminous decorations and the aromas of cinnamon promise to fill us with wonder until the end of the year, here is a meeting not to be missed to start this beautiful month in the right way: the Christmas market of "St Jean d'ici"!

    Come and fill up on flavours and good humour in the heart of Saint-Jean-de-Tholome, where the last market of the year will be held on Saturday 4 December from 8.30am to 1pm, and let's celebrate Christmas together!

    Many activities are waiting for you:

    Sale of Christmas trees from the Maison Pugin by the GAEC des Ets Bisson
    Concert by Stéphanie Quastana from 11.15am to 12pm.
    Jean-Marc Gachet will animate the market throughout the morning with his barrel organ and his Savoyard songs.
    Make-up stand for children with Sophie - Cie Rouge Paillette
    Take part in the 1st inventive assembly competition based on the reusable elements of the Saint-Jean-de-Tholome forests. Dré dans l'Pentu, the festival committee of Saint-Jean-de-Tholome, invites you to invent your own sculpture in wood, moss and other natural materials and to participate in the decoration of the village. A presentation of the participants' creations will take place on the market square from 9.30 am to 12 noon, at the end of which the most original "Rat'éd'bois" will be elected.     Alain Bossu (journalist, writer and traveller) will honour us with his presence to sign his various literary works.
    Our freelance writer from HistoireS de SavoiE - Patrick-Alain Bertoni - will present his monthly Savoyard quarter-hour (anecdotes, stories, heritage, culture... from SavoiE)
    Lou San Diannis, the association of the elders of Saint-Jean, is organising its small Christmas market in the Council Chamber, and a stand of local crafts will also be waiting for you with its beautiful creations.
    To treat you, this month we will welcome Le Camion Noir & Savoie Bretzel. On the menu, David's delicious burgers, with a special Christmas burger, as well as Eric's unmissable sweet and salty pretzels! To be enjoyed to take away.

    The refreshment area, run by the associations of Saint-Jean-de-Tholome, will offer mulled wine which promises to warm you up in a friendly atmosphere.

    Our faithful partners are looking forward to meeting you and offering you their delicious products. Fruits and vegetables, plants, cheeses, meats, delicatessens, bakery, pastry, chocolate, biscuits, teas, beers, wines, fruit juices, fish and smoked duck breasts...
