Specific difficulties: crossing the alpine pastures (respect fences and watering holes, don't scare cattle and keep dogs on a lead)
    Signposting: direction markers
From the parking, follow the D41 for 500m in the direction of the cable car. At the signpost, take the Pile farm access road to the right. Go through the two gates in the fences and continue on a well-marked path. It enters the forest, goes past a little pond, then skirts around the lower part of the house of Grange-Gaby. Continue on the forest road until the signposts pointing to Muraz to the right and le balcon des crêts to the left. Go up the path and reach the D41. Take it right for 100m. At the "Grande Gorge Nord" board go up to the left through the pastures until the "Grande Gorge Sud" board. Continue along the line of the ridge towards the south-east in the direction of Bouillette, and pass to the right of the pylon at the summit.
