Between Lake Geneva and the mountains, meet regional Michelin-starred chef Hubert CHANOVE (Le Refuge des Gourmets, Machilly): his inspiring terroir, his local producers and, of course, his culinary universe. And all seasons are beautiful!
Hubert took over from his dad (Jean-Marie Chanove) in December 2019, together they earned their 1st Michelin star in 2016. Since 2021, the Refuge has undergone a facelift, giving you the chance to come and (re)discover it!
Le Refuge des Gourmets is a history and a family affair spanning over 30 years (now headed by Hubert and his wife Fanny).


  • Cream of cauliflower soup with Piedmont hazelnuts
  • Semi-cooked trout, citrus vinaigrette, carrot declension
  • Beef chuck or guinea fowl leg confit, rosemary or fir honey sauce, carrot variation, creamy apple purée
