 “2019” special – Eaux-Vives Beach

Quai Gustave-Ador, 1208 Geneva – Free entry.

This new public beach, which opened on 22 June 2019, is right in the heart of Geneva. It is located opposite the Eaux-Vives Park, is open to everyone and is a large, pleasant place to swim for free.

This emblematic location in the La Rade quarter of Geneva is a veritable oasis in the heart of the city for tourists and locals alike.

From Annemasse, you are only a 22-minute cycle ride from the beach, via the Greater Geneva Green Lane. A number of bus routes also serve the beach and you can park in the Genève-Plage car park.


 “City-dweller” special – The Les Pâquis Baths

Quai du Mont-Blanc 30, 1201 Geneva – Prices: Ages 16 and over: 2 CHF, Ages 6-16: 1 CHF, free for children aged under 6.

The outdoor Les Pâquis Baths, a legendary Geneva beach, are a very popular location with Geneva residents who enjoy an occasional dip. They are a stone’s throw from the Jet d’eau fountain and offer a fantastic view over the lake for fans of sunshine and relaxation.

This little piece of heaven has numerous activities on offer, and you can even eat there.

Don’t miss the “Aubes musicales” from 22 July to 1 September, a series of concerts from 06:00 to 07:00.


 “Family” special – Excenevex Beach

Surrounded by the spectacular Alpine countryside, discover Lake Geneva’s only natural fine sandy beach, with shallow water that makes it a perfect spot for kids. The public beach at Excenevex offers a broad range of aquatic and leisure activities during the spring and summer: pedalos, fishing, boat trips (no licence required), sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, flyboarding, a large children’s play area, volleyball, mini-golf, a barbecue area with picnic tables, sun chairs and parasols for hire, and more.

 “Nautical Sports” special – Sciez-sur-Léman Beach

650 route du Port 74140 Sciez – Free entry.

With a sports pitch, ping-pong tables and supervised swimming area in the summer, this wooded area is perfect for your little ones… But that’s not all! The fresh breezes here make it THE ideal spot for lovers of board sports: kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking and more. Choose an activity quickly!

Located between the marina and the fishing village, the beach is also ringed by numerous restaurants and brasseries to cater to every size of appetite.

Accessible for persons with reduced mobility : tiralos are available from the lifeguards.


 “Elegance” special – La Savonnière Beach

Chemin Armand-Dufaux 13, 1245 Collonge-Bellerive, Switzerland – Price: 4 CHF per adult.

This wide, beautiful pebble beach with its wooden pier for easy access to the lake is above all a vast, shaded green space, perfect for escaping the heatwave.

La Savonnière Beach is also a great location for stand-up paddleboarding!
